Placed is a charcoal drawing and fragmented self-portrait exploring cultural identity, diaspora, and the feeling of existing between worlds. Created using hand-foraged charcoal and inspired by the act of deconstructing and rebuilding the self, this limited edition print was a finalist in the 2023 Lester Prize and exhibited at the Art Gallery of Western Australia.
